We’re here to help uncover the truth about the dating site CrushNextDoor. So, grab your popcorn, and let’s dish on CrushNextDoor. Is it the real deal or just a dating site scam? Let’s find out!
Are There Fake Profiles on CrushNextDoor?
CrushNextDoor has been using fake profiles to lure in unsuspecting men. While it may sound like an honest mistake, the Terms and Conditions make it clear- these are “profiles for entertainment purposes”. It’s not that obvious to most users as this is mostly buried in the fine print that no one reads.
The heart symbol next to almost all profile photos should have been a red flag, as it clearly states that “physical contact is not possible” but it’s easy to miss out.
So, be warned that your perfect match might not be lurking around the corner at CrushNextDoor.
With Who Do You Really Chat on CrushNextDoor?
To make matters worse, they admit that you’re not talking to real women. This is outrageous! So if you ever get the feeling that everything is just a bit *too* easy on these dating sites, you are probably right about that. You get a match with so many profiles and the conversation just flows? Well, it might not be an AI speaking with you just yet, but an Iron Man-like chatbot or way more realistic professionally trained chat operator!
So, how do we know what is what?
If you are a newly registered member and you receive unusually frequent messages and responses, it’s probably a chatbot trying to lure you into their traps. In case you purchased credits on their site already – most likely you are talking with the chat operator on behalf of a seductive fictional profile.
The fact that CrushNextDoor uses operators on behalf of fake profiles is clearly stated in their Terms and Conditions, see the following:
…profiles are fictional, and your interactions will be with operators
It’s not easy to understand that the person behind is an operator. After all this person is professionally trained to keep you engaged in a conversation for as long as possible. Probably the only way to spot a chat operator is to ask for a real date which would never happen.
Don’t worry, though if you become a victim of such a scam, it happens way more often than you’d think on dating sites – so don’t feel too alone! Just make sure you’re aware that it isn’t a real person on the other end, but a computer program or a hired chat operator doing its best to keep you engaged in conversation so you would keep paying for credits on this dating scam.
An Organized Scam
We’re not too surprised that the company Meteor Interactive B.V. is behind the scam dating site CrushNextDoor. Based in Lorentzweg 22-A, 2964LN Groot-Ammers, Netherlands, Meteor Interactive B.V. runs not just this site but many other similar ones that we came across in our previous reviews. We’re flabbergasted that this company is allowed to operate such an unethical business.
To Sum Up
CrushNextDoor is not worth the money, as evidenced by the fact that most of the profiles are not real, you will not interact with real women but receive automated messages or talk with chat agents who are paid to write with you. Therefore, we strongly recommend to stay away from this site!
